The Heaven Scent^® Gardenia is a wonderfully fragrant gardenia that is an excellent addition to any garden. Best grown in full sun it will tolerate partial shade. This compact, evergreen, repeat blooming gardenia only grows 3 to 4 feet tall and wide. Heaven Scent® Gardenia prefers moist, well-drained, acidic soil. When planting, condition the soil with plenty of organic matter. Mulch after planting to maintain moisture in the soil.

· Dig a planting hole twice as large as the root ball.
· Remove plant from container and place in planting hole.
· Level top of root ball with the ground.
· Backfill.
· Water.
· Mulch.
· Keep moist until established.

Pruning is not required for the Heaven Scent^® Gardenia due to its tight, compact growing habit. If you need to prune to maintain a desired size, do so after flowering.
